Concrete and landscaping in Queenstown
Queenstown is home. Most weeks we are somewhere between Fernhill, the town centre, Kelvin Heights and Sunshine Bay, pouring driveways and floors and putting in the retaining that makes a steep section usable.
Working in town means working around tight streets, neighbours, visitors and sections where the only access is a shared right of way. We plan the pour around that rather than turning up and hoping.

Steep sections and tight access
A lot of Queenstown sections were cut into a hill and then built on right up to the boundary. That usually means the truck cannot get close, the levels change over a few metres, and there is a retaining wall involved whether you planned one or not. We quote what the access actually is, including the barrowing or pumping, so the price you get is the price it costs.

Newton Concrete & Landscaping replaced our very old and shabby concrete front yard and installed a French drain on the side of the house to help with a drainage issue related to the neighbour's runoff. Boston was very easy to work with, very responsive, listens well and offers suggestions. He delivered all the features for the concrete front yard that were asked for, with a beautiful smooth yet safe to walk on finish. People walking by admired the high standard finish and touches. The work certainly adds a lot of curb appeal. Highly recommending their service.Rach VFront yard and French drain
