Concrete floors and foundations in Queenstown

Large concrete pad poured inside timber boxing beside a new shed

Everything that goes up afterwards depends on this being right. We set out, prepare and pour floors and foundations for new homes, extensions, garages, sheds and farm buildings, and we hand them over square, level and where the plans say they should be.

We work to the engineer's drawings and the plans your builder gives us, and we will flag anything on site that does not line up before it is under concrete instead of after.

What this covers

  • House slabs, footings and foundation walls
  • Garage, shed and farm building floors
  • Site prep, hardfill, compaction and polythene
  • Mesh, starters and reinforcing to plan
  • Services and penetrations set out before the pour
  • Power floated and broom finishes

Set out once, check it twice

A slab that is 30mm out does not look like much until the frames land on it. Before any concrete is ordered we check the set out against the drawings, confirm the diagonals and make sure the levels work with the finished floor level, the door thresholds and the drainage. It is the cheapest half hour on the whole job.

Floors and foundations we have done

Finished concrete slab with timber pergola frames standing on it
Concrete being placed and levelled between boxing at a new build
Concrete path and apron formed up at a brick new build
