Landscaping and paving in Queenstown

Exposed aggregate path curving through established planting

Concrete is half of it. The other half is what happens around the edges: shaping the ground, setting the levels, running the edging and getting the outdoor area to actually work as a space.

Because we do the concrete and the landscaping, the levels line up the first time. No handover between two trades, no arguing about whose fall is wrong.

What this covers

  • Paving and paved outdoor areas
  • Concrete and timber edging to gardens, lawns and paths
  • Ground shaping, levelling and contouring
  • Preparing areas for lawn, bark or stone
  • Tidying up and finishing around new concrete work
  • Drainage and surface water management

Edging is what makes it look finished

The difference between a yard that looks done and one that looks nearly done is almost always the edges. A clean, straight edge between lawn and path or garden and gravel keeps its line for years, stops the bark and stone migrating, and makes the mowing easy. It is a small part of the budget that does most of the visual work.

Landscaping and paving we have done

Wide finished concrete driveway sweeping past a lawn and timber retaining wall
Narrow concrete path down the side of a house with a gravel edge
Large flat concrete parking area poured in front of a weatherboard villa
